From the installation a L.T. automatic voltage stabilizer can maintain voltage between 390 to 400. The motor will run smoothly drawing 15 - 20% lesser current and correspondingly the relay setting can be reduced by 15 - 20%. And the situation will be worse in case one phasing occurs, the relay will trip in 40 - 50 seconds. The motors can withstand the high current for this period and will be safe.
Also, the relays, contactors, switchgears, etc. incorporated with the motor will be safe. L.T. AVR being easy to handle are installed in all the running units, units having L.T. connections, units having small H.T. connections. These can be manufactured for Balance Input Voltage and Unbalanced load or Unbalanced Voltage and unbalanced load.

It is motor controlled automatic stabilizer with the closed loop control mechanism used to generate constant voltage. Servo voltage stabilizer can balance with three phase and single phase voltage output in spite of fluctuations at the input owing to unbalanced conditions. Most of the industrial loads are three phase induction motor loads and in real factory environment, voltage in three phases is rarely balanced. Say for example if the measured voltages are 420, 430 and 440V, the average is 430V and the deviation is 10V.
